Vietnam Golf & Country Club (West/ East Course)
Vietnam Golf & Country Club is in Long Thanh My, District 9 (Thu Duc), roughly 20 to 22 km northeast of central Ho Chi Minh City. The club has two 18-hole parkland courses, West and East, laid out in a tree-lined, wooded setting. The West Course came first, opening in 1994 or 1995 depending on the source, and was designed by Taiwanese architect Chen King Shih. The East Course followed in 1997 and was designed by Lee Trevino. Both are par 72, with the West listed at about 6,835 yards and the East at about 6,922 yards from the back tees. The West Course hosted the Vietnam Open, an Asian PGA Tour event, in 1995 and 1997. Advance booking is required for visitors.
