The RG City Golf Club

The RG City Golf Club, also called The Royal Gems Golf City, is an 18-hole tribute course in Pathum Thani, about 45-50 km north of central Bangkok, and opened in 2011. Ron Garl designed it on tree-lined, gently undulating parkland. The front nine reproduces famous holes from other courses, among them Oakmont, TPC Sawgrass, Royal Troon, Bay Hill and St Andrews. The back nine is modelled on the back nine of Augusta National. It plays to roughly 6,600 yards and is par 71. The clubhouse has locker rooms, a pro shop, a restaurant and a driving range with practice greens, and carts and caddies are compulsory.
