Silky Oak Country Club
Silky Oak is the third course of the St Andrews 2000 group, built in Rayong province around 30-40 km from Pattaya and opened in 2010. It is an out-and-back parkland layout over gently undulating, tree-lined ground with a few modest slopes. It is the more forgiving of the group's courses, with wider fairways in places and larger greens, though a good short game is still useful. The name refers to the Australian silky oak (grevillea) trees planted across the property. It shares a clubhouse with St Andrews 2000 and Rayong Green Valley, and Stay & Play accommodation is available through Royal Residence hotels.
