Royal Phnom Penh Golf Club
Royal Phnom Penh Golf Club opened in 1999 and was the second golf course to open in Cambodia, after Cambodia Golf & Country Club. It lies in a rural setting along National Road 4 west of the capital, on about 200 hectares among rice paddies and coconut palms. The course is relatively flat, but sand and water hazards come into play, with water on 12 of the 18 holes and a lake near the third hole. It measures about 7,075 yards from the back tees, with four tee positions for different abilities, and parts of it cross natural wetlands. The large clubhouse is built in a traditional Cambodian style and has restaurants, and caddies are compulsory.
