Palm Hills Golf Resort & Country Club

Palm Hills opened in 1992 and is regarded as the first international-standard course in the Hua Hin area, hosting the inaugural Thailand World Pro-Am the year after it opened. It lies between Hua Hin and Cha-am on a long strip of undulating land, with lakes at either end and a back nine that climbs into the hills with views toward the Gulf of Thailand. The design is credited to Max Wexler and plays about 6,890 yards with wide fairways, plentiful water hazards, shallow bunkers and Tifeagle greens. The 11th, a long uphill par 3, is described as the signature hole. Facilities include a driving range, restaurant, swimming pool, tennis, squash, snooker, sauna and fitness centre.
