Nikanti Golf Club

Nikanti Golf Club is in Nakhon Pathom province, about 75 minutes west of central Bangkok, and opened in 2014 on former rice paddies. Thai architect Pirapon (also spelled Piraporn) Namatra designed it, with a distinctive routing of three six-hole loops that each start and finish at the clubhouse and each include two par-3s, two par-4s and two par-5s. Fairways are wide but rolling with few flat lies, greens are contoured and bunkered, and water comes into play mainly on the par-5s. It measures roughly 6,789 yards from the back tees (rating 72.2, slope 140), described as demanding but scoreable. The modern clubhouse has locker rooms, a restaurant, an observation deck and lounge, and the green fee is all-inclusive of cart, caddie and meals.
