Nexus Golf Resort Karambunai

Nexus Golf Resort Karambunai is an 18-hole championship course on the Karambunai peninsula north of Kota Kinabalu, laid out between tropical rainforest and the South China Sea. It was designed by American architect Ronald Fream and is listed as opening in 1997. Undulating fairways and contoured greens wrap around small lakes, waterways and hillocks, with views toward Mount Kinabalu and Karambunai beach. The course is within walking distance of the Nexus Resort & Spa and has been recognised in Malaysian golf awards. Facilities include a driving range, putting and chipping greens, pro shop, equipment rental, caddie and buggy service, and a lounge. Good to know: Caddie optional: RM150, book 3 days ahead. Buggies allowed on fairways (subject to club and weather).
