Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (West Course)

The West Course is the championship layout at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club in Bukit Kiara, a short drive from central Kuala Lumpur. It opened in 1991 and was rebuilt by Parslow & Winter Golf Design after the 2006 Malaysian Open, reopening in 2008. The parkland course rolls gently, with large, contoured, heavily bunkered greens and lakes or ponds on many holes. The par-4 17th, where a stream splits the fairway in front of a waterfall, is one of its best-known holes, and the round ends on a long par 5 guarded by bunkers in the layup area. The course hosted the Malaysian Open in 2006 and from 2010 to 2015, and the PGA Tour's CIMB Classic from 2013 to 2018. It is also the venue for the LPGA Tour's Maybank Championship, scheduled for 29 October to 1 November 2026. Good to know: Buggies on cart paths only.
