Forest City Golf Resort

Forest City Golf Resort is part of the Forest City development at Gelang Patah in southern Johor, and its golf operation opened in late 2018. The Legacy Course is a Jack Nicklaus design with all-paspalum turf and plays to roughly 7,386 yards from the back tees. Terrain is flat and open, with extensive waste areas and palm trees giving it a desert-like look. A second 18, the Classic Course, opened in August 2019 and was designed by Liang Guo Kun of developer Country Garden. The Classic has heavy fairway mounding, large bunkers, multi-tier greens and plenty of water, and gives its holes mythological names. The resort also has a hotel, spa, gym, pool, dining outlets and an extensive practice area. Good to know: Caddie optional: RM100, paid at the counter. Buggies on cart paths only.
