Dongguan Hillview Golf Club

Dongguan Hillview Golf Club is a 36-hole facility in Dongguan, with a Master course and an Open course, both par 72. The Master course plays about 7,019 yards and is laid out through a rolling valley, with ponds and lakes, split fairways and large, deep bunkers. Greens are described as running quicker than at many courses in China, and the course is designed by American architect Jim Engh. The club is reported to have opened in 1998 (other sources say 1999 for the Master). A Hillview Resort hotel on site has a gym, pool, sauna and tennis and squash courts; caddies are available and carts are compulsory.
