Chung Shan Hot Spring Golf Club (Palmer Course)
The Palmer Course is the original layout at Chung Shan Hot Spring Golf Club and opened in 1984, which several sources describe as the first modern international-standard course in mainland China. It was designed by Arnold Palmer with Ed Seay and plays to par 71 at about 6,500 yards, a modest length that rewards accuracy because the fairways are fairly narrow and the greens are ringed with subtle mounds. The routing follows the natural terrain through tree-lined parkland. The downhill par-5 6th has a green that slopes back to front. Caddies are available, and the mountain-hut-style clubhouse sits within the shared resort.
