Booyoung Golf Club
Siem Reap Booyoung Country Club is an 18-hole parkland course in Bakong District, on the road toward the Bakong temple and National Road 6, about 12 to 20 km from central Siem Reap depending on the source. Designed by Japanese architect Kentaro Sato, it opened in 2009 as Siem Reap Lake Golf Club and was later renamed after Korean ownership took over. Reviewers describe wide fairways, many lakes and streams and large greens, with the course measuring about 7,396 yards from the black tees. The par-5 17th is listed at 604 yards, among the longest holes in Cambodia. The club has a locker room, Korean, Western and Asian restaurant, driving range, practice green, caddies, night golf and an on-site hotel. It closed for an extended period during the Covid-19 pandemic and has since reopened. Good to know: Same rate on weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
