Beijing CBD International Golf Club
Beijing CBD International Golf Club is an 18-hole course on the eastern side of the capital, roughly 14 km from the city centre. It was designed by American architect Brit Stenson and opened in 2005, though some directories give 2004. The site is a flat 135-acre parcel, and the design aimed to disturb the land as little as possible; several small lakes were dug to provide fill for shaping. The back tees measure about 7,300 yards. The course hosted the Volvo China Open in 2008 and 2009. It is a private club, with caddies and practice facilities available.
