Bangi Golf Resort
Bangi Golf Resort is a parkland golf complex in Bandar Baru Bangi, about 22 km south of Kuala Lumpur and roughly midway between the city and KLIA. It was designed by Ronald Fream of Golfplan, who is also credited with Saujana and Awana in Malaysia, and opened in 1994. The terrain is gently undulating, with water coming into play on about half the holes and well-defined bunkering around fairways and greens. The par-4 7th, which needs a carry over water to the green, is usually named as the signature hole. The complex is built around the Equatorial Hotel, making it a common stay-and-play base, and it offers a spa, swimming pool, tennis, restaurants and a driving range. Good to know: Caddie optional: RM100, paid at the club. Buggies allowed on fairways (subject to club and weather).
