Aquella Golf & Country Club

Aquella Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole course in Thai Mueang, Phang Nga province, a short drive north of Phuket International Airport. It was built on part of the former Thai Muang Golf Course, a 1993 Perry Dye design that sat closed from 2011 to 2020, with Pacific Coast Design architects Phil Ryan and Paul Reeves creating a largely new layout north of the old course. The terrain is gently undulating, easy to walk and combines rural and coastal surroundings, with creeks crossing the site, timber-faced bunkers and bamboo-lined passages between some holes. The signature par-3 11th plays alongside the Andaman Sea. Paspalum grass is used throughout, and the course measures over 7,000 yards.
