Amverton Cove
Amverton Cove Golf & Island Resort is on Carey Island in Selangor's Kuala Langat district, about 45 to 60 minutes' drive southwest of Kuala Lumpur. Its 18-hole course, designed by Australian architect Ted Parslow, opened in 2013. The flat, links-style layout has water in view or in play on nearly every hole. Mangrove forest borders six holes, and the back tees on the 4th are reached along a 70-metre boardwalk through the tidal forest. The closing hole has a peninsula-style fairway with a lake to carry on the approach. The resort also has hotel rooms, courtyard villas, lakefront chalets, a spa, fitness facilities, a driving range and a water theme park. Good to know: Caddie optional: RM72 per caddie, paid at the club. Buggies allowed on fairways (subject to club and weather).
