Amata Spring Country Club
Amata Spring Country Club opened in 2005 inside the Amata Nakorn industrial estate, roughly 75 km east of Bangkok and a short drive north of Chonburi town. The 18-hole parkland course, laid out by Schmidt-Curley Design (Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley), has undulating ground that falls away gently toward two large lakes. Large bunkers and fast, undulating greens define the test, and the island-green par-3 17th, reached by a small boat, is the most distinctive hole. It stretches to about 7,470 yards from the back tees. The club is private, with carts and caddies compulsory, and has a pro shop, restaurant and practice facilities.
