Utopia Golf Resort

A pleasant surprise awaits golfers in the timber-rich town of Bahau, in the form of the impressive Utopia Golf Resort crafted by veteran Malaysian professional Bobby Lim.

Formerly known as Era Golf & Country Club, the par 72, 5,982-metre course opened for play in 2007 and is built on an undulating site that used to be plantation land and secondary jungle. Clusters of mature hardwood trees have been retained, creating a jungle-like setting for the all-Bermuda course.

Memorable holes include the 194-metre par three second which plays from multi-level tees over water to a long and narrow green, and the par five 18th which ends at a narrow, peninsula-like green bordered by water on the right and jungle on the left.

Green fees are RM75 on weekdays and RM105 on weekends, inclusive of buggy.
