Located about 15 minutes' drive from the town from which it takes its name, Teluk Intan Golf & Country Club offers a pleasant 18-hole course that will appeal to all levels of players.
Designed by Berjaya Green, the par 72, 6,106-metre layout is built on former plantation land and as such features palm tree-lined fairways with numerous large lakes. However, the water is not a serious threat as there is ample room on the fairways and no huge water carries are required. Approach shots, however, have to be played accurately to avoid the sand traps that protect most of the greens.
Green fees are RM110 on weekdays and RM130 on weekends, inclusive of buggy.
The golf club started off as the Diamond Bay Golf & Country Club and was renamed Teluk Intan Golf & Country Club when it was taken over by the local council. It is now run by a group of golfers from Teluk Intan.
