One of the most popular golf courses in the greater Klang Valley is the 27-hole Tasik Puteri Golf & Country Club in Rawang, about half an hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur.
Crafted by Australian architect Tim Woolbank, the 27-hole course consists of the 3,087-metre Puteri, 3,119-metre Putera and 3,489-metre Tasik Nines. The two original nines are the Putera and Puteri, which feature mature, tree-lined fairways on undulating terrain, while the much longer Tasik Nine was added in 2007 and is built on a flat site with lots of water in play. If you're looking for a pleasant round, then opt for the Puteri and Putera combination, but if you want to challenge your skills to the fullest, then the Tasik Nine is what you want.
Tasik Puteri is famous for its excellent service, from the management staff to the pleasant and well-trained caddies who are mainly from Indonesia.
Green fees are RM145 on weekdays and RM245 on weekends, including buggy.
