Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort is an established club located in Pasir Gudang, about half an hour's drive from Johor Bahru city, offering three 18-hole courses carved from rolling oil palm plantations and marshland
The championship Plantation Course, designed by Max Wexler, is so named because parts of the original plantations and fruit orchards are incorporated into the layout. Built on naturally undulating terrain, the 6,454-metre course provides a stimulating challenge with strategic placement of lakes and bunkers along with challenging greens.
The 6,399-metre Village Course is designed by Japanese architect Akira Mamiya and has a strong presence of water, which comes into play on 13 out of 18 holes. The Straits Course, also designed by Mamiya, is the shortest at 6,185 metres and demands a more accurate playing strategy with some of the fairways bordering mangrove swamps.
Green fees range from RM115 to RM321 including buggy. Contact the club for details.
The clubhouse has 20 guest rooms or you can opt for course-fronting villas and bungalows.
