Forming part of the multi-faceted Starhill Resort, which also has a water theme park, Starhill Golf & Country Club offers two superb courses, the Bintang (Star) Course and Bukit (Hill) Course crafted by Japanese company Mitsui Corporation.
The 6,834-yard Bintang is a walking course and is considered the tougher of the two, featuring tree-lined fairways with a parkland feel and well-bunkered greens. The 6,859-yard Bukit Course, as its name suggests, has some dramatic elevation changes but the fairways are generally wider and the greens large and generous. Both courses feature star-shaped island greens, at the 194-yard par three 16th of the Bintang and the 514-yard par five eighth of the Bukit.
Visitor green fees are RM120 on weekdays and RM344 on weekends, inclusive of buggy.
Starhill is located just five minutes from Skudai town, 15 minutes from Senai International Airport and 30 minutes from Singapore via the second link. The Hilltop restaurant at the clubhouse serves excellent Japanese food among others.
