Seremban International Golf Club

One of the oldest golf clubs in the country, Seremban International Golf Club (SIGC) dates back to 1952 when it was formed by British planters as a six-hole course.

The club shifted to the current site in 1978 about 15 minutes' drive from the Seremban town centre, where the Negeri Sembilan state government built an 18-hole course and a Minangkabau-style clubhouse. The scenic, par 72 layout is one of the best cowgrass courses in the country, featuring tree-lined fairways ending at Serangoon greens that can be primed to roll up to 11 on the Stimpmeter.

SIGC's finishing hole is a challenging par five of 455 metres, playing uphill to a deceptive green. While long hitters can go for the green in two, any mishits will be severely punished by OB on the right and trees on the left.

A popular venue for professional tournaments in the 1980s, SIGC currently hosts the annual Negeri Sembilan Masters Invitational which attracts some of the best professionals from the region.

Green fees are RM96.50 on weekdays and RM138 on weekends, inclusive of buggy.
