Located in the Royal town of Seri Menanti from which it takes its name, the Royal Seri Menanti Golf Club is a quaint, 18-hole course that is well worth a visit.
The heavily-wooded, 5,759-metre layout meanders through hilly terrain with some significant elevation changes in play. The fairways are generally tight and accuracy is imperative, especially off the tees.
The functional, colonial-style clubhouse has changing rooms and a restaurant. The club is located next to the official palace of the ruler of Negeri Sembilan, the Yang DiPertuan
Besar, which is known as the Istana Besar (Main Palace). The Minangkabau-style Istana Lama (Old Palace) is close by and was constructed in 1902, made entirely of wood without using a single nail.
Green fees are RM53 on weekdays and RM75 on weekends including buggy.
The Seri Menanti town is around 25km from Seremban, the administrative capital of Negeri Sembilan.
