If you're looking for a little golf adventure, then the nine-hole Royal Kampung Kuantan Club (RKKC) in Kuala Selangor about 40 minutes' drive from Kuala Lumpur is the answer.
RKKC is one of the oldest existing golf clubs in Selangor and among the first in the country, dating back to 1910 when it was formed by British planters. The original nine-hole, par 35, 2,834-metre course was bulit some time in the 1930s and has gone through many changes since, but still retains its rustic charm with lush, tree-lined fairways and small, elevated greens.
A new nine was added in 2016, designed by Saujana Scape & Greens.
The old world charm of RKKC is reflected in its clubhouse, a semi-wood building built in the late 1920's.
