Port Dickson Golf & Country Club is a must-play for golfers visiting the seaside resort town of the same name, boasting an interesting 18-hole course and full-facility clubhouse.
While the club's history can be traced back to 1961 when the nine-hole PD Garrison Golf Club was formed by army officers, the current 18-hole layout opened for play in
1992. Crafted by local architect Szeto Wai Yin, the course stretches 5,900 metres from the back markers and features an undulating front nine with the home stretch playing on flat terrain.
There is a fair amount of vegetation off the fairways as the course was cut through a forest, but most of the landing areas are quite generous. The Tifdwarf greens have some subtle breaks and roll reasonably well.
Green fees are a steal at RM50 on weekdays and RM80 on weekends. Buggies cost RM60.
The clubhouse offers a wide range of facilities and there are 54 apartments for rent at reasonable rates.
