Located in a pleasant suburo just 15 minutes from the Johor Bahru city centre and the Causeway, Ponderosa Golf & Country Club is one of the best golfing experiences in the south of Peninsula Malaysia.
Originally designed by Max Wexler but remodelled by Ronald Fream, the par 72 course measures 6,467 metres from the tips and features many sand traps and water hazards. The greens are tricky and undulating, which make this course a stimulating challenge for all levels of golfers.
The signature hole is the par-three 7th which plays 168 metres over a large pond with trees awaiting on the left. The par-four 16th is another gem, playing as a dogleg left of 370 metres around a huge lake all the way to the green.
Green fees are RM135 on weekdays and RM260 on weekends. Buggy fee is RM80 while caddies cost RM63.60 Contact the club for current promotions.
The Mediterranean-style clubhouse has great Facilities including 16 guest rooms, while night golfing is an option on Tuesdays and Fridays.
