One of the breeding grounds of leading Malaysian golfers is the Kuala Kubu Bharu Golf & Country Club in the town of the same name, with many of our current professionals having learnt the nuances of the game there - examples include P. Gunasagaran and R. Nachimuthu, who have both won numerous titles on the local circuit.

The tight, tree-lined course has numerous doglegs and thus demands some blind tee shots, while the Serangoon greens are deceptive and not easy to read. Total par is split equally between the two nines, with the outward tract measuring 2,918 metres and the back nine 2,666 metres.
It only costs RM43 to golf here, including buggy. The clubhouse has decent facilities although the restaurant only operates on weekends.
