Kota Permai Golf & Country Club is one of the best golfing experiences in Malaysia, offering a par 72, 6,382-metre gem of a golf course crafted by Australian architect Ross Watson.
The superbly-designed course serves up a nice mix of doglegs and straight holes, short holes and lengthy tracts, with options often needed to be weighed off the tees. No two holes look alike, which is one of the reasons why Kota Permai is one of the most popular courses in Malaysia. The super-slick Tifdwarf greens can be primed to reach speeds in excess of 12.5 on the Stimpmeter, while the Zoysia fairways reward accurate play with nice, sit-up lies.
Since it opened in 1998, Kota Permai has won numerous accolades and hosted many high-profile events headlined by the Maybank Malaysian Open in 2008. The clubhouse is one of the best in the country and is well-patronised by members and visitors alike.
