Forming the centrepiece of the township from which it takes its name, Kinrara Golf Club offers a friendly 18-hole course crafted by Australian architect Ted Parslow in collaboration with local designer Roslee Muda.
Measuring just 6,021 metres off the blue tees, the par 71 Kinrara course has a parkland style layout with short but wide fairways. As the course is not long and has generous landing areas with minimal hazards, a round here will be an enjoyable affair for most golfers.
One of the most memorable holes is the par four 18th, a sharp dogleg right of 403 metres with a big monsoon drain than cuts across play just before the well-bunkered green.
The small but functional clubhouse is perched on a hill, overlooking the golf course. There is an excellent practice range which is home to the PGM Peak Performance Academy for aspiring professionals and elite amateurs.
Green fees are reasonably priced from RM85, inclusive of buggy. Caddies are available. Contact the club for current rates.
