Located in the air force base in Subang, Kelab Rekreasi Tentera Udara (KRTU) is one of the most challenging courses in the Klang Valley with its tight and undulating golf course.
Designed and built more than a quarter of a century ago by local company Istijaya, the par 72, 6224-metre course winds its way through mature oil palm trees revealing the site's plantation origins. The layout consists of two nines, the Tasik Nine which features numerous man-made ponds and the Sawit Nine characterized by mature oil palm trees.
One of the most breathtaking holes is the par three seventh, which plays 186 metres to a pretty island green. The tee shot has to be deftly struck as there is virtually no room for error.
Visitors are welcome with green fees set at RM63.60 on weekdays and RM159 on weekends. Buggies are available (RM60).
The KRTU clubhouse has the full range of facilities and is an active social hub for its members, consisting of a mix of armed forces personnel and civilians.
