Kelab Rahman Putra Malaysia (KRPM) sprawls over 270 verdant acres in Sungai Buloh and two challenging courses designed by former Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister the late
Tun Ghafar Baba, who was an avid and accomplished golfer.
Established in 1987, KRPM is of the most scenic courses in the Klang Valley with its lush, cowgrass fairways lined by an assortment of trees leading to well-kept Serangoon greens.
The 6,130-metre Lakes Course is the championship
course and, as its name suggests, sees lots of water in play and is widely regarded as one of the toughest layouts in the country. One of many outstanding holes is the par-three second, which plays 181 metres to a peninsula-like green
surrounded by water.
The 6,047-metre Hills Course, which opened for play in
1992, is built on hilly terrain and also furnishes a good test of golf.
Visitors are welcome on weekdays and Sunday
afternoons. Green fees start from RM120; buggies and
caddies are avallable.
The clubhouse offers the full range of recreational, social
and sports activities.
