Located in the suburb of Taman Impian Emas from which it takes its name, Impian Emas Golf & Country Club is one of the best nine-hole public courses in the country.
Opened for play in 2006 and designed by renowned American architect Ronald Fream, the par 36, 3,195-metre layout may seem short but is extremely challenging with its undulating fairways, sculptured bunkers and huge, tricky greens. Rated as the toughest hole is the bunker-riddled par five seventh, which plays a hefty 553 metres with water on the left.
Green fees are RM56 per nine and RM75 per 18 on weekdays, going up to RM70 and RM120 respectively on weekends (inclusive of buggy).
The simple clubhouse has a golfer's terrace to unwind after a round and there is a flood-lit nine-bay driving range to hone your skills as well. The course is managed by Ponderosa Golf & Country Club.
