Glenmarie Golf & Country Club is one of Malaysia's top golf clubs and offers two excellent courses, the Valley Course and Garden Course, both originally crafted by Max Wexler.
Regarded as the championship course, the par 72, 6,412-metre Valley Course was redesigned by Ted Parslow and today furnishes a great test of golf. Water is a strong feature and there are some significant water carries, while sculptured bunkering awaits to trap errant shots. There's a nice, almost temperate feel to the course with tall pine trees lining the fairways.
The par 72 Garden Course measures 6,404 metres and is designed as a resort course with generous landing areas and pretty landscaping. The course hosted the inaugural Eur Asia
Cup match between Europe and Asia in March 2014.
The clubhouse offers the whole range of golf, sports and recreational facilities and excellent accommodation is available at the adjoining Holiday Inn Glenmarie Hotel.
Green fees are upwards of RM350. Buggies are compulsory for visitors, while caddies are optional.
