Located in the grounds of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (National University of Malaysia) in Bangi, Danau Golf Club furnishes an interesting golf course that will test all parts of your game.
Measuring 6,357 metres from the blue tees, the Danau course features lots of indigenous flora along with oil palm and rubber trees which reflect its plantation origins. The Cowgrass fairways are flanked by mature trees while large lakes await to swallow wayward balls, along with lots of bunkers especially around the greens.
The large greens, recently returfed with TifEagle, are fast and tricky and the putting line needs close scrutiny. Some of the holes offer varying options to players of different skill levels - whether to attack or play it safe with a lay-up shot as this can make the difference between a good score and a disastrous one.
Green fees start from RM95 on weekdays and RM195 on weekends (including buggy). Caddies are available.
