Located near Kota Tinggi, the historic Nam Heng Country Club was built by British planters in the middle of an oil palm estate in the early 20th century.
Designed by GM Price, the nine-hole, par 36 course measures 2,913 metres with tight Cowgrass fairways that are almost arrow straight. A number of ravines have to be crossed during play and it takes some dett approach work to find the small and narrow greens, which are turfed with hardy Serangoon grass
Green fees are only RM20 on weekdays and RM40 on weekends. Caddies cost RM15 per nine or you can rent a trolley for RM5
It takes about 40 minutes to get to Nam Heng from Johor Bahru city.
