Johor Golf & Country Club

Johor Golf & Country Club is one of the best Cowgrass courses in the country, featuring a lush parkland-style layout on an undulating site bordering Tasek Utara (North Lake) and the Johor Zoo.

The par 72 course measures 6,964 yards from the blue tees and will provide a challenge for all levels of golfers with its tight, tree-lined fairways and heavily-sloped greens. Small ponds and bunkers add to the hazards of the already penal layout.

Built in the early 1970s, the course was designed by Dato' Ahmad Adam, the then director of Jabatan Kerja Raya (Public Works Department) of Johor. It underwent a major renovation by American architect Max Wexler in 1991/1992 when all the greens were returfed with Bermuda and new ponds and bunkers added.

Visitor green fees are RM84.80 on weekdays and RM169.90 on weekends. This is a walking course and visitors will have to engage a caddy for RM50

The club has hosted numerous professional events including the first three editions of the Iskandar Johor Open from 2007 to 2009.
